Rub wounds over ventral/proximal L R/U Legs: L TMT swollen Feet: NSF Body: Rub wounds on abdomen Feather condition: Moulting Ectoparasites: Flat fly Radiographic findings: NSF Initial treatment: 0.93cc meloxicam + 0.42 pentoxifylline + 60cc LRS SQ in R inguinal. Placed in cage in CC room. Dropped 1 chx. A: Early stage constriction/rope burn wounds around neck, abdomen, L TMT, and both shoulders. Most concerning spot is currently over dorsal L shoulder, where a section of tissue is already very pale. Too early to tell how much tissue will end up dying off. P: Rx 3d SQ fluids. Rx meloxicam. Rx pentoxifyline. Collect blood and fecal tomorrow. Monitor all rub wounds for tissue die off. Monitor rest of bird for development of new wounds. SF in PM, HF in AM if DNE starting 4/30
